We are inviting all KAIS families to join us on a day trip to experience Kamakura, off the beaten path. The excursion will take place on Saturday, April 15. Things will start with a nice lunch at a local restaurant. We will then take a short bus ride to Hokokuji where we can enjoy delicious tea in the middle of a bamboo forest. Next will be a hike along a lesser-known path that offers stunning views of Mt. Fuji and the coastline. We will conclude with a stroll through Kamakura’s Omachi neighborhood where we can visit local shrines and shops.
Approximate cost: ¥2,000 per person (excluding train transportation to Kamakura and souvenirs)
