With summer approaching, many parents are considering the best way for their teenager to spend all their newly acquired free time. We strongly suggest finding summer programs that deepen understanding in a field of interest, broaden academic, athletic, or artistic horizons, make a difference somewhere in the world, and enrich your child’s quality of life. There are many such programs that cover several, if not all, of the items in that list. According to this New York Times article, another thing teens should seek out on their path to a successful adulthood is a mentor.
