On the morning of September 13th, we held an earthquake safety discussion and conducted a successful earthquake and evacuation drill. Students and teachers evacuated the building in two minutes and thirty-eight seconds. We will conduct another such drill early in the second semester. We would like to advise all of the families in our community to use Skype or the Line App to communicate with your children in the event of a natural disaster (regular phone lines are unlikely to work), and to learn about the emergency evacuation plan in your neighborhood. There is also an earthquake early warning app we strongly suggest downloading. Further useful information about emergency preparedness can be found here. Please read it carefully.
