KAIS International School is organizing our ninth annual ski and snowboard weekend February 23-25, 2018! We are going to Minakami in northern Gunma, an incredible ski and snowboard area. Minakami, on the border of Gunma and Niigata, offers superb skiing for every age and level.

Students can choose between skiing and snowboarding. There are slopes appropriate for every level, so beginners are welcome too! We will ski at both Houdaigi and Tenjindaira ski areas.
We will stay at the cozy Tenjin Lodge in the center of Minakami.

There won’t be many opportunities for students to spend money, so please limit the spending money you give your child to ¥4000. This money can be used for buying snacks and drinks during the day or in the evening, and for a light dinner on the train ride home.
Students will be provided skis and snowboards, but should bring their own ski wear (goggles, gloves, waterproof pants, jacket).
