On Thursday, June 14th we will have a special guest speaker come to discuss the effects plastic has on the environment and introduce practical ways we can reduce our plastic consumption. Karen Abe is a recent graduate of the ‘Iolani School in Hawaii, and will soon matriculate to the University of Hawaii-Manoa. She is an environmental activist and the co-founder of Plastic Free Initiative. Please join us at 4pm in the library.
