This month KAIS has partnered with Second Harvest Japan to participate in their Adopt-a-Family project. This program aims to support low-income families. This year the focus is on helping families who were affected by the severe flooding last summer in Western Japan. Each homeroom will conduct its own food drive based on a list of suggested items that has been provided by Second Harvest. This is a great opportunity to not only help those in need but to also raise awareness about food security in Japan. The deadline for donations isFriday, March 15th.
