While our AP Language and Composition students will have required reading and writing assignments over the summer break, we recommend that all KAIS students read 2-3 books while school is not in session. 9th and 10th grade students received a list of recommended titles in their Literature class this week. These suggestions take difficulty level, quality of writing, and course syllabi into account. If any students feel inspired to read something that is not on the list, we encourage you to do so. Let your summer reading guide you on your path to personal growth and self discovery. If students are looking for something that speaks to them and the path they see themselves progressing on, they should ask their teachers for more targeted recommendations.
