For the past three years, KAIS High School has partnered with Rustic Pathways to provide our students with an amazing travel opportunity. Each Spring Break, we travel to different countries for a service-based, culturally immersive trip. In the past, we have gone to Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand. Students have done a variety of volunteer work from construction to education to meal preparation.

These trips have provided our students with invaluable lessons on the importance of commitment, communication, and community. Furthermore, a service-based trip will help make college applications more dynamic and attractive.

We have started the initial planning for next year’s trip, and we are leaning heavily towards Fiji. Because of both the popularity of this location and the dates available, we need to have a confirmed number of interested students by the end of September. Official registration (and payment installments) will take place in early autumn.

Interested students should initiate conversations about this trip with their families. During the first week of school, we will have a meeting for interested students. Until then, any questions can be directed to Laura.
