This year we are heading west to explore the historical gem of Kanazawa! Our Experience Japan Trip will provide us the unique opportunity to discover the cultural and natural wonders of this often overlooked area of Japan. We will broaden our gustatory palettes, sampling local favorites from kaisendon to fresh sushi straight from the Sea of Japan; we will learn about historical figures like D.T. Suzuki, Murou Saisei, and samurai culture in our classrooms, enhancing our understanding of the historical value of the spots we visit; we will hike, experience onsen, get some great Instagram shots, and more!
