We came across a wonderful NYT article about applying for college and thought it was worth sharing with the KAIS Community, so here it is. The article states, “Regardless of outcome, the application process itself forces the kind of growth parents dream of.” This is because there are really important factors to consider and reflect upon embedded in applying for college. As a part of our College Bound program, all students are strongly encouraged to engage in this process, even if they are unsure of what/where they want to study after high school. There is great value in higher learning; even the steps one needs to take in order to get to college provide their own worthwhile lessons.
