Today marks the end of the first quarter, and Progress Reports (unofficial report cards) will be sent home soon after. Expect these to arrive in your mailbox by November 8th at the latest. If your child is failing any core academic classes (math, science, history, Japanese or English), he/she will be put on Academic Probation. This means your child will attend mandatory study hall after school from 4-6pm Monday – Thursday, and will not be allowed to participate in any clubs, events, or extracurricular activities at KAIS. Students will be taken off Academic Probation once they are passing all classes (we will check grades at the beginning of each week). To ensure there are no surprises, we encourage parents to check ThinkWave at least once a week. If you need help logging into your ThinkWave account, please contact Tommy.
