Our 11th annual ski and snowboard weekend is coming up! During the weekend of February 21st-23rd we are going to northern Gunma, an incredible ski and snowboard area. Minakami offers superb skiing for every age and level. Students in the 8th grade at KAIS EMS are also invited to sign up!

Students can choose between skiing and snowboarding. There are slopes appropriate for every level, so beginners are welcome too! We will ski at both Houdaigi and Tenjindaira ski areas.
We will stay at the cozy Tenjin Lodge in the center of Minakami.

There won’t be many opportunities for students to spend money, so please limit the spending money you give your child to ¥4000. This money can be used for buying snacks and drinks during the day or in the evening, and for a light dinner on the train ride home Sunday night.
Students will be provided skis and snowboards, but should bring their own ski wear (goggles, gloves, waterproof pants, jacket). They are also available for renting at the lodge.
The cost of the trip is ¥65,000 per student. There is a slight discount of ¥5000 if students bring their own equipment. IN ORDER TO ATTEND, payment (in cash) and the release form must be handed in to Kyoko by Friday, January 10th: If you have any questions, please email Kyoko!
