This year we are heading north to explore the historical gem of Sendai! Our Experience Japan Trip will provide us the unique opportunity to discover the cultural and natural wonders of beautiful Tohoku. We will broaden our gustatory palettes sampling local favorites from sasakama to zunda; we will learn about the effects of the Great Tohoku Earthquake and its ensuing tsunami in our classrooms and through meeting survivors while on this trip; we will hike, read haiku, experience onsen, get some great Instagram shots, and more!
